Stay at Hidden Canyon Ranch and spend the night in a teepee. As you drive into the canyon deer and turkeys run in front of your car. There is a stream that traverses the property and the sound of running water lulls you to sleep. A herd of deer keeps you company as you grill hot dogs and make smores. Your electric blanket keeps you toasty as you sleep under stars that you normally can't see due to all the ambient light at night in the city. The next morning stroll the property and play on the playground, where deer watch you from about ten feet away. Drive over to Great Basin National Park and take a cave tour, exploring the mysteries underground. Check out stalagtites, stalagmites, and ""cave bacon."" Grab lunch in nearby Baker, Nevada and head home. |
